The Descent: Part 2 is so fucked up, you don't even know. I have to rage.
Anyways, so I totally forgot that Sara took a pick ax to Juno's knee in part I and left her in the cave to die while she escaped, what the fuck? But then again, I also forgot that it was because Juno, a very good friend of hers then, was having an affair with her husband at the time. Women.
So in the end, Sara sacrifices herself to save Elen since Sara has no one left and Elen still has a little girl back home, and it shows this dramatic scene where Elen crawls out a tunnel and reaches the surface and the light. Such contrast, such brilliance emanating hope! THEN, this psychotic old man comes out of nowhere and whacks her upside the head with a goddamn shovel and drags her back to that hell hole to be fed to those THINGS.
And then that's it. End of movie. WHAAAAAAAAAT.
It's like, you're about to climax. Then someone chops off your dick.
And then you die.
Waste of a buildup.

D’Anconia – Elodie
With all the click clicks, ooh oohs, eh ehs, and ah ahs--it kind of makes you smile (somewhat reminiscent of Avicii).

Holly Brook - Heavy
Born unto this pride
Silence is something you can't hide
You can't deny us
Nothing has been said
Yet so many words have filled my head
Now they completely surround me
Tie the lines of honest conductivity
Caught between the center of our gravity
I don't have that much time to burn anymore
Silence is something you can't hide
You can't deny us
Nothing has been said
Yet so many words have filled my head
Now they completely surround me
Tie the lines of honest conductivity
Caught between the center of our gravity
I don't have that much time to burn anymore

I veered away from my family today during our stroll through Wu Fen Pu (Taipei's largest wholesale street market) and popped into a little shop on my own to look at the clothes. The clothes were separated into 2 sale sections: 2 pieces for 100nt/2 pieces for 300nt.*
I picked 2 for 300nt and 1 for 50nt--not wanting to wait for my mother to come haggle with the owner (I mean, it already feels like stealing at these kind of prices), I approached him, fully prepared to pay the listed sum just as any simple tourist would.
C: Lao ban, duo xiao chian?
X: Mmm, er bai wu.
C: Eh?! Bu hui ba! Zhen de?
X: Shi ah.
C: Xie xie ni!
And! He only charged me 250nt (that's about 8usd) for everything--one of the items was a blazer-like trench coat too, and those usually go for 500-800nt. Maybe he found my Mandarin endearing :) Apparently it's quite childish, according to a native.
Bu cuo, bu cuo.
*30nt = 1usd
